[T]he owner of three dogs in Carlisle has been left devastated after their beloved pets suddenly became ill and later died.
The dogs were rushed to a vets where they were given emergency treatment but despite the best efforts of the veterinary staff all three dogs sadly died.
The dogs owner suspects they were poisoned.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police are aware of the death of three dogs in the Buchanan Road area and are investigating the circumstances.
“Officers were first made aware of the deaths on March 25th.”
