Two men arrested after Harrington armed robbery

[P]OLICE are in the Workington area following a armed robbery earlier today.

Officers were called at 6:35am this morning (9th April) with a report of a member of staff being threatened by two men with a Stanley Knife at McColls Newsagents, Church Street, Harrington.

No one was not hurt during the incident.

The offenders left the scene with a quantity of cigarettes.

Two 34-year-old men from Workington, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101.
