Police probe fire at Ulverston swimming pool

Police are investigating a fire in Ulverston.

At 5:30pm on Sunday 15 April firefighters were called to a fire in the changing rooms of a swimming pool on Priory Road, Ulverston.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews, four wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets and two thermal imaging cameras to put out the fire.

“An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.”
