[T]hree primary school children took part in Will4Adventure’s Challenge4Charity last weekend and walked between them, 54 miles inside 12 hours, through the Peak District in aid of Action4Diabetics.
The children, Jocelyn Legon aged 8 from Crookesmoor who goes to school at Westways Primary, Charlie Connor aged 7 from Rutland, and Neev Renton aged 8 (herself a type 1 diabetic) from Crosby Ravensworth Primary School in Cumbria.
The two girls each managed to walk 20 miles from Sheffield to Youlgrave and Charlie managed to walk 14 miles. Between the three friends it is estimated that they will have raised in excess of £2000.
Action4Diabetics helps to provide life giving medical care and essential development support for children with Type 1 Diabetes in emerging countries in Asia.
