Police appeal after Workington shoplifting

[P]olice are investigating a shoplifting incident in Workington town centre.

On the 27th April at approximately 11.53am a male offender has entered JD Sports and tried on a pair of white Nike Air Max trainers. Whilst staff were distracted, the suspect has walked out of the store with the trainers on his feet and making no attempt to pay for them.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 10 inches tall, skinny build, wearing a black Adidas hoody with a grey t-shirt underneath and light blue jeans.
