Baby Blessings and Naming Ceremonies now available at Gretna Green

Gretna Green, famous for hosting weddings since 1745, has launched a NEW celebratory service for summer 2018. Couples will now have the option to host their child’s Blessing or Naming Day ceremony over the famous anvil in the original Gretna Green Famous Blacksmiths Shop. A great alternative to a traditional Christening or Baptism, this service can be performed by either a minister or non-religious celebrant.

Surrounded by your most-treasured family and friends, Gretna Green will give you the chance to celebrate the occasion of the birth and welcome your child into the world at a unique and memorable venue synonymous with LOVE.

Choose from either a ceremony only option, which includes the Blessing or Naming Ceremony and a gift from Gretna Green, or the catered package, which also includes a buffet for 20 people, including 3 hours exclusive use of the fully licensed LOVE Conservatory next to the Famous Blacksmiths Shop.

Whether you are looking for venue only or a catered package option, the Gretna Green team will take care of your every detail.
