Firefighters tackle Carlisle house fire

[A]t 10:48am today, Thursday 10 May three fire engines from Carlisle East, Carlisle West and Longtown attended a domestic building fire on Osborne Avenue, Carlisle.

On arrival crews found the fire to be involving a semi-detached property.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews used four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

“Crews remain in attendance at the current time.”
