Police appeal after Tesco worker racially abused in Workington

Police are investigating a racially aggravated public order offence which occurred in Tesco in Workington at approx 18:30-19:00 hours on Friday 18/05/18.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “During this incident two males have shouted racially abusive insults at a member of staff.

“Numerous people were in the area and police are looking for witnesses or for anyone who knows the identity of the males concerned.”

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting log 216 of 18/05/18 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
