Firefighters tackle Dalton-in-Furness kitchen blaze

[A]t 10:35pm yesterday, Tuesday 29 May two fire engines, one from Ulverston and one from Barrow-in-Furness attended a building fire on Ulverston Road, Dalton-in-Furness.

The fire involved a fibre glass roof of a kitchen.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The team used one hose reel jet, one covering jet, one short extension ladder and one thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire.

“Crews were in attendance for about 40 minutes.”
