Eight arrested after disturbance in Barrow

Eight people have been arrested after a disturbance occurred shortly after midnight on Wednesday 13 June in the area of Mardale Grove, Greengate Street and Sutherland Street in Barrow involving a large group of people.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Eight males and females aged in their late teens were arrested, all are still in custody and expected to be released on bail shortly.”

Police are appealing for anyone who heard or saw anything or who has any information, CCTV or dashcam footage to contact PC Knowles on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting log 4 of 13 June.
