Firefighters tackle riverbank fire at Warwick Bridge

At 9:08pm yesterday, Wednesday 13 June firefighters were called to Warwick Bridge, Carlisle, after a report of a fire on the riverbank.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews found the riverbank well alight and they used two hose reel jets to put out the fire.”
