Free pregnancy and postnatal support groups starting this month

New Positive Birth Movement groups in Cumbria

The Positive Birth Movement has two new Cumbrian groups meeting for the first time this month. Both are free to attend and welcome all new parents (with babies!), parents-to-be and birth professionals who wish to share positive views and experiences about pregnancy and birth.

The Positive Birth Movement is a global network of free support groups which aim to imporove women’s experiences of pregnancy and birth using inclusive, informal peer support. Please come along to meet other local mums and dads and chat about parenthood in Cumbria!

The Carlisle brach will meet on Friday 21st June at 10.30am at Carlisle Library, while the Penrith group will meet at Penrith Library at 1pm on Monday 25th June. You can find more details on their Facebook pages:
