[P]OLICE are renewing an appeal for information regarding missing man Russell Goldsmith, 86-years-old.
Russell has been missing since 8:15am yesterday morning, leaving his home in the Neville’s Cross area.
He is described as a white male, approximately 5″8 with short brown, greyish hair, and is believed to be wearing beige trousers and a green checked shirt. He sometimes wears glasses, but is not thought to be wearing them at the moment.
Inspector Joanne Malkin, of Durham Constabulary, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Russell’s welfare, particularly given his poor mobility and his showing the early signs of dementia.
“I ask that anybody with any information shares it with us, and that if Russell himself is reading this, he gets in touch with Police as soon as possible.”
Anybody who has any information regarding Russell’s whereabouts is asked to contact Durham Police on 101, quoting incident number 135 of June 16.
