Man charged after Cleator Moor fire

[A] 33-year-old man has been charged with three offences after police were called to a fire at a property on Duke Street, Cleator Moor on 17th June at around 6:35pm.

Ronnie Wallace, 33, of 24 Duke Street, Cleator Moor, has been charged with the following three offences:

  • Arson with Intent/Reckless as to Whether Life was Endangered
  • Assaulting a Constable in the Execution of their Duties
  • Obstructing/Hindering an Emergency Worker

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “He has been remanded in police custody.

“He was scheduled to appear at West Cumbria Magistrates Court on the 19th June.”
