Police appeal after generator stolen from A590 catering van

Police are investigating the theft of a generator from a food catering van which was parked up on the eastbound lane of the A590 at the Rusland Pool layby.

The theft occurred on Tuesday 19th June at 12.30pm whilst the food outlet was open for business.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Thieves have parked up in a silver and grey people carrier and persons have snatched the generator in broad daylight.”
