[A] rare Elisabeth Frink sculpture has gone on public show for the first time in more than half-a-century.
The bronze bust, Portrait of a young man (1962), is on display at Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Kendal, Cumbria.
The piece forms part of the new exhibition: Elisabeth Frink: Fragility and Power which runs until 29 September.
Fragility and Power is the first large scale show of work by Frink in the north of England and comes a quarter of a century after her death.
