Aspatria man charged with sexual offences

[A] WEST Cumbrian man has appeared at Carlisle’s Rickergate Magistrates Court charged with ten-alleged offences of a sexual nature.

Antony Marek Bar, 57, gave his address as King Street, Aspatria.

The allegations are, Exposure, he intentionally exposed himself at Aspatria, between  19, and 27 May 2013 and another allegation between January 1, 2014 and January 1, 2017.  A further allegation of exposure on January 1, 2017.

Sexual assault on a female at Aspatria, he intentionally touched a female, between January 1 and May 25  2013; Another two allegations of sexual assault at Aspatria on January 21, 2017; Attempted sexual assault on a female at Aspatria on January 2, 2017; Incited sexual activity between January 1, 2014 and January 1, 2017 at Carlisle; Observed a person doing a private act in Carlisle between January 2, 2014 and January 1, 2015 also a similar allegation between January 2, 2015 and January 1, 2016.

The 10-allegations are brought to court under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

No plea was entered and the next hearing will be held at Carlisle Crown Court on August 3. He was granted conditional bail.
