Two women arrested after man assaulted in Kendal

[P]OLICE are investigating an assault which occurred about 6.45pm on Friday 22 June 2018 in Goose Holme at Kendal.

Two women – one wearing pink shorts and another denim shorts and both aged between 20 and 30 years – and a man in his 20s wearing black jeans and a checked shirt assaulted a man whilst he was on the floor.

Two women and a man from the Kendal area were arrested and have been released on police bail.

There were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident, using the public space near the river.
