Police appeal after Carlisle street robbery

[P]OLICE are investigating the report of a robbery. The incident occurred outside of Iceland on Lowther Street, Carlisle, at 3:25pm, on Wednesday 4th July.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A mobile phone was stolen during the incident. The victim, a teenage girl, received no injuries.

“The offender is described as a white male, with messy dark hair and unkempt facial hair. He was wearing a beige t-shirt and camouflage army-style trousers.”

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or may have any information relating to it, is asked to contact PC 2432 Firth on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
