Man hurt in Carlisle attack

English Damside

[P]OLICE are investigating an assault which occurred outside Michelangelo’s on English Damside in Carlisle.

At 9pm on 5 July the male victim was walking with a female from Bush Brow onto English Damside when the victim was attacked by two males, he suffered deep lacerations to his head and face as a result of the assault.

Officers believe the attack was witnessed by several members of the public.

One of the suspects is described as large build, both men were wearing shorts.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Carlisle police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 111 555.
