[F]ans enjoyed afternoon tea, music, chat and laughter at the latest Lee Brennan Entertainment event in Carlisle on Sunday 8th July.
Lee brought TV presenter, reality star and singer/songwriter, Jake Quickenden to the City to perform at a sold-out, fun and relaxed event – Celebritea at The Halston Aparthotel on Warwick Road.
VIP guests enjoyed a ‘meet and greet’ session with Jake, followed by 911 star Lee hosting the event and surprising the crowd by performing a couple of 911 classics. Next up was a quick-fire question round between the two celebrities. We learned that Jake prefers Ibiza to (his hometown) Scunthorpe, he prefers 911 to FIVE and Beyonce to Britney, he also admitted to ‘going in to the Jungle and falling in love with Edwina Currie’.
Jake then sang, playing his acoustic guitar, much to the delight of his adoring fans.
Celebritea with Jake Quickenden is the latest event created and produced by Lee Brennan Entertainment. Celebritea follows on from his previous sold-out Take That tribute night last month. Lee has also welcomed many hundreds of England football fans to The Venue in Carlisle during the England teams World Cup campaign this year, offering a giant screen, great atmosphere and additional music acts after selected matches. He will again be opening the doors of The Venue this Wednesday 11th July to see if England can beat Croatia to reach the World Cup Final.
Fans of live entertainment can look forward to further announcements soon about Lee’s future events in the City, including the in demand Shine A Light Charity Ball.
Lee said: “I want to bring top quality and fun events to my hometown. So far our events have been really popular and we’ve had some great feedback. I am so happy to be able to offer a variety of entertainment to my hometown.”
