[P]olice have made two arrests following the report of an assault in Barrow.
The assault occurred on Church Street, near to the junction of Ramsden Street, at about 5.45pm Saturday 7th July 2018.
A 49-year-old local man received treatment in Furness General A&E for minor injuries.
A 42-year-old old local man received minor injuries that required no treatment.
Two youths, aged 16 and 17, both from the Barrow area, were arrested a short time later on Suspicion of ABH Assault. They have since been released under investigation.
Investigations are ongoing, and police are appealing to anyone with information regarding the incident, who hasn’t already spoken to police, to make contact on 101, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
