Appeal after cash found in Cockermouth

Police are keen to trace the owner of a sum of money which was found on 4 July 2018, between The Parklands and Fitz Road in Cockermouth.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The money has been handed in to Cockermouth Police Station.

“The owner will need to describe the amount of money and the container in which the money was found.”
