[A] Carlisle man has appeared before Carlisle Magistrates Court to plead not-guilty to an allegation that his dog, a grey Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Rocky, was dangerously out of control causing injury on June 24.
The court was told how Reverend Elizabeth Smith was walking her dog in High Stand Plantation near Cotehill, while also walking his dogs was Anthony Warwick Etherington, 50, of Parkland Avenue, Carlisle.
The allegation is that his dog bit Reverend Smith’s finger and arm, the biting allegation was denied in court, and a three-hour trial was arranged for August 30, at Rickergate`s magistrates court complex.
