Man seriously injured in Barrow attack

Police are investigating a serious assault that occurred on Friday 29th June 2018, at the junction of Barque and Steammer Street, Barrow Island, after 9pm.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 54-year-old local man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

“Police are seeking witnesses to the assault, the victim and offender were both walking in the direction of Ship Street.”
