Police appeal after Penrith burglaries

Police are investigating a burglary at the Penrith Golf Shop, Maidenhill, Penrith between the evening of the 4th July and the morning of the 5th.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Offenders forced entry to the shop causing criminal damage.

“A small amount of cash was taken.”

Police are also investigating a burglary on the Story Homes development site, Green Lane, Penrith between the evening of the 4th July and the morning of the 5th.

Offenders forced entry to the site causing criminal damage. An electronic device and a charger were taken during the incident.
