[P]olice investigating the theft of handbags in Carlisle and Penrith have released CCTV footage.
Both incidents occurred on Friday 22nd June at Aldi supermarkets.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “At approximately 1.40pm at the Aldi store on Kingstown Road, Carlisle, a handbag was stolen from the back of a trolley. Later that day, at approximately 2.45pm, a handbag was stolen from a trolley at the Aldi store in Penrith.
“Police would like to speak to the male pictured in CCTV footage in connection with both incidents.”
