Man hurt in Whitehaven gang attack

Police are investigating an assault that occurred at about 1am on Sunday 8th July on Duke Street, Whitehaven.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A man, aged in his late-teens, was assaulted by up to six other males which has resulted in him receiving facial injuries and a loose tooth.”

Anyone with any information is asked to email [email protected] or call 101 and ask to speak to PC 2503 Pickering-Smith, quoting incident number 127 of the 8th July. Alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
