Police cordon in place after incident in Carlisle

St Ninians Road / Petterill Bank Road

Police are in the area of St Ninians Road, Carlisle, investigating an incident which occurred between 1am and 2am this morning (12th July).

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police are establishing the circumstances around the incident with enquiries ongoing.

“A police cordon is in place around the area whilst investigations continue.

“No one was injured during the incident.”

Police are appealing for anyone in the area of St Ninians Road between these time to contact police on 101 and ask to speak to an officer from North Cumbria CID, or call Crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
