Appeal to trace man who witnessed man exposing himself in Carlisle park

[P]OLICE are trying to trace a man who may have witnessed a criminal offence in Bitts Park on Sunday evening (15 July).

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Three women were spoken to by a man who advised them not to walk in the direction of the park as a man had just exposed himself. The conversation happened near to the tennis courts.

“Cumbria Constabulary has not received any reports of such an incident so is trying to trace the man who gave the warning – believed to be in his 60s – as part of their enquiries.

“If it was you who warned the women or if you have any information that could assist, please contact police referencing incident number 219 of 15 July 2018.”
