Man arrested after Penrith wall crash

The damaged wall on Huntley Avenue.

A man has been arrested after a silver Vauxhall Corsa collided with a garden wall on Huntley Avenue in Penrith.

The collision occurred in the early hours of this morning.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers have arrested the driver, a 25-year-old man from Penrith on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving.

“He is currently in police custody.”
