Police appeal after cyclist seriously injured in Lowca

Police are investigating the circumstance around a road traffic incident. The incident involved a male cyclist falling off of his bike, on West Croft Terrace, Lowca, at around 2:45pm on Tuesday 17th July.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The cyclist, a man in his 60’s from out of the area, remains in hospital in a condition described as serious but stable.

“Emergency services attended the scene, including North West Ambulance Services, and road closures were in place.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses who have yet to speak to police to contact PC 2426 Rotheram on 101.
