[A]t 3:57am today, Monday 23 June firefighters were called to a fire at a domestic building on Shore Terrace, Salterbeck.
On arrival crews discovered that the property was heavily smoke lagged and the fire was confined to a pantry just off the kitchen.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Firefighters were in attendance for more than two hours.
“Police also attended.”
