Biker critical after Hartside crash

Cumbria Police is appealing for witnesses following a one vehicle collision involving a red Ducati Multistrada motorcycle that occurred on Hartside Pass at approximately 4.45pm on Sunday (22 July).

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A rider aged in his 50s suffered serious injuries as a result and was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. He is in a stable but critical condition today.”

Cumbria Police is appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or any who may have dashcam footage of the incident, to contact them quoting incident number 194 of the 22 July 2018.
