Police appeal after man threatened in Carlisle

Police are investigating a hate incident in Carlisle.

The incident occurred on Monday 23 July 2018 on Stonegarth on the edge of Chances Park at approximately 9.15pm.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “It has been reported that a man has been verbally abusive and threatening towards another man – making references to his nationality – whilst he was walking home.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact police referencing incident 178 of 24 July 2018
