[P]olice are appealing for witnesses following the arrest of a man on suspicion of criminal damage and breaching an order.
The arrest follows reports of two incidents of criminal damage.
The first incident occurred at a guest house on Lake Road, Windermere, at 10:20pm on Sunday 15th July. A stone was thrown at a window, causing the window to smash.
The second incident occurred at 12:30am on Monday 16th July on Claiffe Avenue, Windermere, and involved a stone being thrown at a parked white van, causing the window to smash.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 30-year-old man from Windermere, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of committing criminal damage, and breaching an order.”
Police are appealing for further witnesses to both incidents. Anyone with information should contact PC 1162 Friend.
