[A] MAN accused of having a knife at a Workington shopping centre will stand trial before a jury later this year.
Adam Spencer Bromley, 36, faces one charge arising out of an alleged incident at Asda, Dunmail Park, on February 19 this year.
At Carlisle Crown Court earlier today (FRI), Bromley denied allegedly having a bladed article – a lock knife – on that date.
As a result of his plea of not guilty, he will now go on trial at the crown court.
That hearing, estimated to last one day, is due to get underway on September 5.
In the meantime, Bromley, of Main Road, High Harrington, was granted unconditional bail by Judge James Adkin.
