Dr Jolliffe is a GP and Partner at Risedale Surgery in Barrow and has been a member of Morecambe Bay CCG’s Governing Body since 1 April 2017 when the boundary change occurred and Morecambe Bay CCG came into existence.
His career includes training, occupational health, palliative care, commissioning and he has been a representative on local medical committees. Geoff was Interim Chair of Cumbria CCG prior to being elected as the Vice Clinical Chair of the newly formed Morecambe Bay CCG.

Dr Jolliffe said: “I am delighted to have been elected as Clinical Chair for Morecambe Bay CCG and I look forward to leading the CCG through the excellent opportunities that lie ahead as well as the changes and challenges that we may face.
“I will continue to work with my colleagues locally as well as across the whole of Morecambe Bay to improve health outcomes for our communities and make a real difference to our local health services.
“I am very grateful to my predecessor, Dr Alex Gaw, for all his hard work, commitment and the support he has given to the Governing Body since the inception of Lancashire North CCG in 2013 and then Morecambe Bay CCG as the boundaries were changed from April 2017.”
Dr Jolliffe officially started his new role on 1 August 2018.
