Man hurt in Carlisle attack

[P]olice are investigating an assault which occurred at 4:20pm on Thursday 26 July near City Wash on Water Street in Carlisle.

A 35-year-old Carlisle man was assaulted suffering a cut head and swelling below the eye.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police would like to trace a man in his forties, with stocky build, greying hair and tattoos on both arms, he was wearing a blue vest and shorts with fluorescent green trainers and was believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident.”
