[T]he M6 northbound has reopened after a road traffic collision occurred between J41 and J42.
Police were called at 3:47pm.
A camper van overturned blocking two lanes.
The northbound entry slip was also closed at J41.
All lanes have now reopened.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 3:44pm firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the M6 northbound carriageway near Junction 41.
“It involved a large motorhome and two other vehicles, the motorhome had tipped on its side and was blocking two lanes of the carriageway.
“Additionally, the motorhome had gas inside it which needed to be made safe.
Crews made the scene safe, isolated both the gas cylinder and the battery on the vehicle and passed the casualty to the care of paramedics at the scene.
“They were in attendance for around an hour and a half in total.”
