[A] Carlisle man has appeared in the court dock at Carlisle Magistrates Court charged with possession of class A drugs.
Malcolm John Nicholson, 33, now of no-fixed-abode is alleged to have had in his possession and quantity of class A drug Heroin with intent to supply to another and on the same day August 10 in the city possession a quantity of crack-cocaine a class A drug with intent to supply to another person.
The court was told that Nicholson had a former address on Lightfoot Drive, Harraby, the allegations are police stopped him while riding his cycle in the city and a quantity of illegal drugs were found on his person.
Nicholson did not enter any plea to the allegations.
He was remanded to prison and will next appear at Carlisle Crown Court on September 10.
