[V]isit Rheged Gallery and enter Roald Dahl’s Wondrous World in this interactive exhibition filled with activities to keep children entertained this summer!
Immerse the whole family into Dahl’s world and take part in activities inspired by his iconic stories including The BFG, Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, The Twits and more. Children will love creeping past the sleeping giant, creating their own virtual confectionery, playing around with Gobblefunk, dressing up and completing their special activity book along the way.
Rheged’s Arts Manager, John Stokes said: “We’re so proud to be working with The Roald Dahl Story Company on an official Roald Dahl Exhibition. This exhibition has been created by Rheged and won’t tour anywhere else so it’s really unique. We think it’s a real coup for Penrith to be able to have a one-off Roald Dahl exhibition here at Rheged.”
Roald Dahl’s Wondrous World exhibition runs up until 2nd September and is open daily from 10am-5.30pm, with last admission at 4.30pm. We’re also running late openings on Friday and Saturday evenings until 8pm, last entry 7pm. Admission is £5 for children aged 3 upwards and £6.50 for adults.
