Man arrested after girl racially abused in Barrow

[P]olice are currently investigating an incident that occurred on Thursday 9th August at approximately 3.45pm within McDonalds on Dalton Road, Barrow.

A verbal altercation had taken place near to the counter between two men. During the incident one of the men has racially abused a female child under the age of 10.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 21-year-old male from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of committing a racially aggravated public order offence. He has been released under investigation.”
