Police appeal after Whitehaven taxi rank attack

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of assault and public order on Duke Street at the taxi rank in Whitehaven.

This incident occurred at 3.30am on the morning of Monday 27 August 2018.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “It has been alleged a young man wearing a grey ripped t-shirt, black tight skinny jeans and black shoes was attacking a woman and her partner following a verbal disturbance.”
