At 4:13am today, 4th September 2018 four fire engines from Ambleside, Milnthorpe, Staveley and Windermere fire stations and a joint incident command unit from Walney fire station attended a fire off the A5074 in Crosthwaite Kendal.
The fire involved two caravans and four liquified petroleum gas cylinders.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used one hose reel jet, a 45 millimetre hose and compressed air foam to extinguish the fire.
“Crews remain at the scene.”
