Firefighters tackle Sealy blaze

Firefighters are tackling a fire at the Sealy factory on Station Road in Aspatria.

Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service were called at 12:22pm.

Fire engines from Aspatria, Wigton, and Carlisle attended the fire, an Aerial Ladder Platform from Carlisle also attened.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews used four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets while gaining access to an oven on fire.

“The Aerial Ladder Platform was used to inspect the roof.

“They where on scene for approximately one hour and 30 minutes.

“No one has been injured.”
