Police are appealing for information after a bike thief rode off with a stolen cycle.

It was taken from St Nicholas Gate Retail Park, off London Road, yesterday (WED SEP 5).

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The white Cross mountain bike was outside the Asda store on the site. The thief was male and was wearing a dark jacket and rucksack.

“Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the theft. Call police, referencing incident 204 of September 5.”
