Man seriously injured in Botchergate gang attack

Police are investigating an assault that occurred on Botchergate in the early hours of 1st September.

Police received a call at 4:40am of an assault. The victim – a man in his 30s – was assaulted by a group of youths aged between 14-18 years old, and sustained a hairline fracture to the skull and injuries to his nose and eye.
