Police appeal after hit-and-run near Sellafield

Police are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred on Wednesday 12th September at 7am on the A595 southbound at Blackbeck roundabout near Sellafield.

The suspect vehicle was dark-coloured and pulling a trailer when it hit a cyclist on the roundabout and has then driven away from the incident.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with any information to contact the police quoting log number 98 of 12th September 2018.
