Police are investigating an incident which occurred in the area of St. James’ School field near to Albert Street and Furness Street in Millom on Monday 1st October 2018.
A boy was bitten by a large black dog at around 4pm whilst taking part in an after school club; the young boy has received an injury to his left hand.
Police are trying to locate the dog and identify its owner. The dog is described as black with a white patch on its front, possibly a Labrador type or similar. The male believed to be with the dog is described as bald, with a limp and wearing a dark hoody or jacket with the hood up.
